Connect the central part of the band around a secure object, at shoulder height, make sure the whatever you connect the band around is strong and secure, as a lot of pressure will be placed upon it.

Holding the handles in each hand, stand away from your connection point, with your arms extended straight out to your front, with your palms facing each other, hands close together.
Keeping your back straight, and head up, smoothly pull your hands back, keeping your arms straight parallel to the floor, so that they are inline with your shoulders, at the side of your body.
Hold in this outer position for 1 - 2 seconds prior to returning back to your starting position and repeating again for desired amount of reps.
