Stand with your feet together - wider if you want to make the exercise harder, holding the handles of the resistance band in one hand, with your feet placed centrally on the band.
Exhale and smoothly pull the band up, until your hand is nearly level with your chin, keeping your elbows out to the side always above the height of the band.
Hold for 2 -3 seconds in the upper phase, inhaling as you lower down under control, taking care not to lean forward, aim to lift and lower the band close to your body line.
