Rocking Calf Raise

This exercise is best performed using a suitably weighted barbell, placed across your shoulders, however dumbbells, or even no weight can also be used.

keep your balance throughout
rock forward, raising up onto your toes

Focus on keeping the movement under control throughout, raise up onto the balls of your feet, leaning slightly forward, prior to coming back down onto your heels, and leaning slightly back, raising your toes off the floor.
