Palms Up Barbell Curls

An excellent exercise if you have no access to a bench or step box, which can be performed with either barbell - cable or dumbbells.

Sit comfortably, resting your forearms on the top of your thighs, grasping a suitably weight, with your palms facing upright, placing your wrists just over your knees. If using a barbell, you will need to rest both arms on your thighs throughout the exercise.

Smoothly lift and lower the weight, keeping your forearms in contact with your legs throughout the movement.

If performing one hand at a time, you may wish to place your other arm underneath, in order to give yourself a greater range of movement and stability for the working arm.
