Aim to keep your upper arm vertical, close to your head, begin the movement with one hand extended back behind you, aiming to have a tension on the cable throughout the movement.
Use your other arm to help fix this position, in order to isolate the tricep muscle, by grasping the outer side of the upper arm.
Smoothly straighten your arm, whilst maintaining a static position with your upper arm, avoid letting the arm move forward or back during the lifting and lowering phase.
Focus on keeping your back straight, with the movement coming only from the arm your working.
