Smith Close Grip Press
Lay down on your back, with a suitable weight on a smith machine bar, you would need to use about 50% less than your smith machine normal bench press, however always start light, and increase the weight according to your own strength levels.

Aim to start the movement with your hands shoulder width apart, centrally placed on the smith machine bar.
Lower the bar down to your chest, aiming to keep your elbows tucked close to your sides as you lower the weight, focusing on using your triceps to push the weight smoothly back up.
You may decide to perform this movement on a flat - inclined or declined bench.
