Smith Reverse Grip

Lay down on your back, with a suitable weight on a smith machine bar, you would need to use about 50% less than your smith machine normal bench press, however always start light, and increase the weight according to your own strength levels.

Position your hands at normal shoulder width, wide grip or close grip; however turn your palms around so that your fingers are facing you.

Smoothly lower the weight down to your chest, aiming to keep your elbows tucked close to your side, in order to help isolate your tricep muscles. Slowly and smoothly extend your arms back up to a straighten position prior to repeating again for desired amount of reps.

You may decide to perform this exercise on either a flat - declined or inclined bench.
