Weighted Dips

The use of weights will greatly increase the difficulty of a standard tricep dip exercise; therefore person should only perform this method with a good athletic ability.

keep your elbows tucked into your sides lower down ideally until your arms are at a 90 degree bend

Perform the same action as a standard or reverse grip tricep dip, however attach a suitable weight around your middle with a weight belt, or alternatively grasp a dumbbell between either your feet, or have a partner place a weight between your thighs.

Always commence with a lightweight, progressing slowly but positive by increasing either your reps, before increasing your weight.
