Overhead MB Toss

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, holding a suitable medicine ball at arms length with your back and legs straight.

Keeping the ball between your legs, lower down to a semi squatted position, prior to exploding upwards, keeping your arms straight to take the ball upwards over your head, aiming to generate both height and rearward horizontal distance.

This exercise can be performed with your feet either on the floor or actually taking off in the final throwing phase, however avoid over extending your spine.

For safety reasons, make sure that there is nobody behind you and the ceiling height is sufficient, ideally perform this exercise outdoors.

You may decide to perform this exercise in either a seated or kneeling position.
