Working with a partner, lie on the floor with them holding a suitably weighted medicine ball high up above your chest.
Keeping your arms slightly bent, communicate with your partner, getting them to drop the ball into your hands.
Absorb the impact by allowing your arms to bend a little, prior to returning the ball back to your partner and repeating the process.
Avoid keeping your arms straight, as this will reduce the effectiveness of the movement, as your joints rather than your muscles will be absorbing the load.
