MB Pass to Push Up
Kneel upright with a suitable medicine ball close to your chest, keeping your elbows high and to your sides.
Thrust yourself forwards to form a straight line through your knees – hips and shoulders, whilst extending your arms forward to throw the medicine ball away from you, aiming for distance rather than height.
Upon release of the ball prepare yourself for a two handed landing in a three-quarter press-up position, using your arms to absorb the landing, taking your elbows out to your sides, however keeping your chest and head off the floor.
Aim to work with a partner who can pass the ball back to you in order to repeat the process. If performing on a hard surface, place some cushioned mats on the floor to protect your wrists upon landing.
To reduce the landing impact, you may decide to place a low-level step box where your hands will land, however make sure this does not obstruct the balls flight path.
