Multi Barrier Hop
Set up a number of small hurdles, ideally 12 – 24 inches high, in either a square or octagon formation around you, with each hurdle within touching distance of your arm, whilst you stand in the centre of the formation.
With your feet shoulder width apart, jump up and out of the formation, using your arms to aid both balance and upward lift.
Upon landing immediately jump back into the centre of the formation and repeat the process, each time changing direction.
You may want to reduce the height of the barriers, especially those to the rear, or alternatively in jumping backwards over the barriers, you may decide to also rotate 180 degrees.
For safety reasons always make sure that the barriers will collapse if landed upon, taking care to land and take off on both feet.
Variations of this movement are to take off and land moving in either a clockwise or anti clockwise direction, or by performing the movement on one leg, or by keeping your hands by your ears, you're forced to work your legs harder and also control your balance.
