2 Foot Incline Hurdle
Set up 6 – 8 hurdles or suitable barriers, making sure that you have sufficient spacing between each hurdle so that your not being forced to lean into the next bound, or apply the breaks to avoid hitting the hurdle.
Stand facing the hurdles with your feet at shoulder width, hands by your sides, and explode upwards, bringing your heels to your buttocks and knees up to your chest and you jump up and over each hurdle.
The hurdles need to be set up so that they are increasing in height, with safety being paramount, so that they will collapse if hit. If you feel uncomfortable about using a solid hurdle as a barrier, use cones or cane rods with elastic band stretched across.
Upon landing you will need to immediately explode up and over the next hurdle, aiming to land on both feet, avoiding excessive bending in the legs, keeping your knees pointing forward throughout the exercise.
