MB Cross Over
An excellent exercise for improving both upper body explosive strength and stability.
Rest one hand on the top of a suitable medicine ball, perform a press up, however as you come up, push down on the ball and explode up and over the ball, changing the hand on the top of the ball, lowering down into a further press up, prior to repeating again to your starting side.
Beginners to this exercise may find using a larger soft medicine ball, such as a leather ball, easier to maintain stability, likewise working in a three quarter position will reduce the intensity.
