Box Skip

A number of different jumps can be performed using a step box platform to help gain additional height.

You may decide to work with a number of boxes, set-up in order for you to take off and with one foot on the next box, or alternatively have a small sprint / skip betweem them, or even begin the movement from a static position.

Whichever method you use, focus on planting the foot firmly on the step platform, aiming to use your arms to help achieve maximum height with the opposite leg, taking the knee up towards your chest, whilst keeping your back straight.

Midway through this action aim to stride your legs straight, so that you gain maximum distance, prior to landing and then either repeating the process or taking a small sprint.
