Stride Bench Over's

Aim to work along a bench that is 8 – 24 inches high, with ideally a width of 8 – 12 inches for a distance of 5 – 10 meters.

Start by standing sideways on the bench, with the foot closest to the bench, resting on the top, explode both upwards and slightly forward taking the outer knee high whilst moving the inner leg to the opposite side of the bench, this time down on the floor.

On landing immediately repeat the process for the complete length of the bench, using your arms to aid in both height and balance.

Variations of this movement are to work with just one leg, taking off and landing with the same leg, without jumping over the bench, or by aiming to perform the jump without the forward movement.
