Rest your middle on the main support of the machine, with the backs of your legs locked under the rear supports.

Place your hands across your chest, holding a suitably weighted plate weight in your hands. Lower yourself down to a comfortable position, aiming to keep your back straight.

Using the muscles of your lower back lift yourself up ideally until your torso is parallel to the floor.

Give this exercise a miss if you have lower back problems.
