Worktop Push Up

Using a secure worktop to perform your push ups, will assist your movement, as the higher the worktop, the easier the exercise will be.

Place your feet, 1 stride back from the worktop, and have your hands placed on the edge of the worktop, with your thumb pointing down to prevent any sliding forward.

Inhale and smoothly lower your chest down toward the worktop, keeping your back straight and core (abdominal muscle) engaged (tensed).

Lower down within your own limits, taking your elbows out to your side, exhaling as you push back up to your starting position.

Repeat the movement for desired number of repetitions, taking care to make sure that both the floor and worktop are clean and dry.
