Backward Skipping

With most sports speed moving forward is often a key factor, however at times you will also need to travel backwards, so its wise to practice and strengthen the muscles associated with these movements.

Skipping backwards, rotating both arms to increase your lift and travel distance.

Work at taking small step, gradually building up to pushing both upwards and rearwards, aiming for large movements.

Always make sure the area behind you is clear.
