Dependent upon your strength, adopt a suitable position, either full press-up or resting on your knees, however make sure that your hands are placed under your chest, with thumb and fingers touching.
Keeping your elbows close to your side, lower down taking your lower chest down to your hands, and remain in this position for as long as possible.
Avoid placing your hands to far forward, as this will cause stress in your shoulders and lower back, due to the angle of your arms.
You may want to hold the position, come up and repeat, or simply aim to hold statically for as long as possible.
Try and work at different stages of the movement, for example hold at the lower phase - or the mid point, remembering that you can make the exercise easier by resting on your knees, or harder by lifting one leg in the air.
