Close Grip Bench Press
Lie on a flat secure bench, holding a suitably weighted barbell in your hands, aiming to keep your hands close together (shoulder width) with fingers wrapped around the bar in a normal hand position, (palms facing forward).

Make sure that prior to commencing the movement, you have full control of the bar, as bringing your hands closer together, will reduce the bars stability.
Lower the bar smoothly down towards your chest, ideally about 1 inch below your nipples, whilst keeping your elbows tucked into your sides.
Exhale as you push the bar back up towards your starting position, prior to repeating again for desired reps.
