Static Squat
The static method can be used for a number of different exercises, however always make sure that you warm up and stretch the muscles your about to use.
Simply
hold in a static position for as long as you feel comfortable. Its best working
through the middle or final part of the movement.
Take care when finishing your static exercise for the quads, especially if
you have been low down for a while, as the contraction of the muscles, will
reduce the blood flow to your brain, and can cause you to feel dizzy or light
headed for a few seconds.
If you feel dizzy, stop what youre doing, and aim to sit or lie down straight away, shaking your legs to aid blood flow, ideally with your feet raised.
