Great for improving the strength of your fingers and wrists, combined with the workout that the chest muscles will receive. Numerous methods of press ups can be performed, along with variations of your hand / finger placement.

These styles of press ups, are best suited for persons who have a strong upper body, and wish to create an increase of strength around the wrists / fingers, normally for chosen sports such as Rugby - American Football - Martial Arts.
If performing using only your fingers, aim to keep the fingers spread wide, making sure the surface your fingers are on is clean and dry, to avoid any slipping.
This method can be made harder by working with reduced fingers, however this should only be undertaken by persons who can perform 20+ reps of the standard finger press up.
