Lying MB Throw

Lie on your back with a suitable medicine ball resting on your chest.

Exhale and perform a standard sit-up, whilst throwing the medicine ball a few inches vertically upwards.

Upon the cathcing the ball, inhale and lower back down to repeat the exercise for desired number of repetitions.

The throwing and catching action will require you to tense up and work your abdominal muscles through a different range of motion.

This is a great exercise for sports such as Rugby - American Football and Boxing.
