Constant Crash
If you get in a car, and try to drive without having any lessons, then you have a high chance that you're going to crash – dieting without knowing what you're doing will have the same results, unfortunately its easier to repair a car.
Look upon every diet that you're been on, that has failed as a crash, the secret is simple, its not about dieting, its about lifestyle changes, how many times do you need to fail at something before you change your approach.
The reality is that its not you that is failing, it's the diet industry that is failing you – it's the only industry that will market a product for you to buy – not work – then repackage so you can buy it again under a new name or fancy formula.
If you buy something and it does not work, then you would normally demand your money back, unfortunately with regards weight loss products and diets, they may appear to work in the short term, however after a few months they have failed you, as you will replace the weight you lost and some extra.
Even if these diets or products don't work, then it's very unlikely that your going to ask for your money back, as you feel uncomfortable about saying that you're a failure.
It's human nature to tell people about any success, that is how the diet industry works, if you lose weight then you feel that your getting positive results, and as such will spread the word – mouth to mouth the best form of advertising, if a friend recommends something to you then you will be more likely to try it.
With all the people that you know that have tried and recommended a diet, how many of these have said that it didn't work, or they failed - just look at these people now, are they still the slim or have they put on more weight or complaining about being tired?
With every crash you have in your car, you will make it harder to sell – with every failure you have with your dieting, the harder it will be to succeed – look at doing something once and doing it right.
Every diet will cause you to lose muscle tissue, when in order to reduce fat, you will need muscle tissue to use your fat stores as a form of energy – the only thing that will safely remove fat from your body is muscle - liposuction will also remove fat, this method is becoming safer and less expensive, however there is still a risk, expenditure and short term result, as with time you will replace the body fat.
Gaining extra muscle tissue from all over body weight training will result in a higher metabolic rate, making your results rapidly achievable. This does not mean that you will look like a body builder, it simply means that your body will be far more efficient at both burning fat as a fuel source and having more energy stored within your muscles, enabling everyday tasks to become easier. The best people to speak to about losing body fat, are body builders, however these people spend hours in the gym and eat a very strict diet, especially prior to competition, you will not gain huge muscles or visible definition by performing simple home exercises.
Looking at a family car having an engine size of 2 liters, it will be able to travel 50 miles on a gallon of fuel – if you increase the size of the engine to 4 liters, it will only be able to produce 25 miles, simply because it uses more fuel. The size of the engine will not change the outer look of the car, because it's hidden under the bonnet, just as your muscles are all hidden under a layer of skin and body fat.
This simple equation will work with your body, with your muscle tissue being your engine size, increase the size of the engine (your muscle) and you need more fuel to travel the same distance, likewise, if you lose muscle tissue (engine size 1 liter), then you will be able to travel further as you're using less fuel (burning less calories), however the car will be struggling throughout the journey.
Your goal for fat loss, should be to burn as much fuel (fat) in the shortest time (distance) possible, remember that even at rest / sleeping, your body will be using more calories (energy) if its engine (muscle mass) is high.
As soon as you can get your body to run like a efficient car, the sooner you will be able to rid your body of its excess body fat. The longer it takes you to establish an effective level of muscle tissue, the longer it will take you to achieve your goal – the more times you decide to crash and reduce your muscle mass, the more chance you have of putting your car on the scrap heap.
Increase your body muscle mass and you increase your chances of success - reduce your muscle and you will eventually fail!
